If you don’t in fact have a sleep disorder, there are other things you can do to help ensure that you have a better night's sleep. Some tips include having a set bedtime and a set time to wake in the morning, not eating close to bedtime, incorporating regular exercise into your daily routine, avoiding caffeinated beverages like coffee and soda, staying away from alcoholic drinks, and taking a long, hot bath or curling up to enjoy a television program and wind down before climbing into bed.
